India Leach received a Last Dollar Grant from the CollegeBound Foundation to attend the University of Maryland at College Park. Holding a Maryland State Cosmetologist License and a Commercial Driver’s License enabled her to not only work her way through college but understand the value of hard work. Ms. Leach received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Citation in African American Studies from the University of Maryland at College Park. As a recent graduate of Towson University, she has earned a Master of Arts in Professional Studies through an individualized program of study entitled, “Strategic Planning & Management of Non-Profit Organizations for Social Justice.” She prides herself as a self-motivated, dedicated team worker that has a great aptitude for communicating. In addition, Ms. Leach is able to successfully initiate, promote, and maintain exceptional rapports with people of all cultural backgrounds. As a Baltimore native and CollegeBound Scholar, India Leach is the epitome of CollegeBound’s mission which is to build the pipeline from high school to college to work.
