Beth Green
Senior College Access Program Specialist
Beth Green currently serves as a Senior College Access Specialist at Western High School. Since joining the CollegeBound team twelve years ago, Ms. Green has worked in several capacities to promote college access and success for Baltimore’s youth. Most recently she served as the Associate Program Director for College Retention. Ms. Green came to CollegeBound in 1999 as a College Access Program Specialist (CAPS) and has worked at a number of Baltimore City high schools while focusing on special projects that include development of a college advising curriculum and compilation of a Financial Aid Handbook for students and parents in the Baltimore metropolitan area. In her role as Coordinator of College Access Programs, Beth worked as a liaison with the Baltimore City Public Schools to advance college access initiatives, including the FAFSA Campaign and the development of theBaltimore College AccessProviders Consortium. Prior to coming to the CollegeBound Foundation, she worked for four years with Baltimore County Public Schools as a social studies teacher at Randallstown High School. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy Studies at Dickinson College in Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree from the Johns Hopkins University.
