Jennifer Covahey

Jennifer Covahey, a Baltimore native and graduate of Southern High School (Digital Harbor), earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland College Park. She is a fellow CollegeBound Alum and received a CollegeBound book scholarship for college. While in College she was an intern at National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship in Baltimore (NFTE). With NFTE Ms. Covahey worked closely with students to help them create their own business plan. From working for a non-profit and in the Baltimore City School system Ms. Covahey found a passion for helping Baltimore City students and joined the CollegeBound Foundation team. Eventually Ms. Covahey does plan to continue her education and obtain a graduate degree. She is considering different fields such as school administration or social work.
