A native of Port-de-Paix, Haiti, Mr. Pierre earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Religion from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. Prior to joining the CollegeBound Foundation, he served as Director of Operations at Bridges Community Development Center in Anne Arundel County where he developed after school programs for at-risk middle school and high school students. Most recently, he worked for Anne Arundel County Public Schools as a Behavioral Specialist focusing on behavioral and academic interventions for at-risk students. In 2007, Mr. Pierre was awarded a “Mentoring Award” from the Volunteer Center of Anne Arundel County for the implementation of the YES Initiative Program which reflects his desire to ensure students he works with is successful in every facet of their lives.
