Rashidah Bahar graduated from Western High School in 2003. She graduated Cum Laude from St Mary’s College of Maryland in May 2007 with a degree in English and two (2) minors: International Cultures/Latin American Studies and African Diaspora Studies. Rashidah is presently working for the DeKalb County School District (Georgia) and is Project Manager for Technology Initiatives and Policy. Some of her duties include managing large scale software projects for a 100,000 student school district, including ERP application implementation. Additionally, Rashidah focuses on creating policies and procedures through multiple departments with the goal of streamlining all processes as it relates to District technology initiatives.
