Lucas has been a consistent honor roll student since his ninth grade year and he has continued to challenge himself by enrolling in honors and AP classes throughout his high school career.  As a member of the Baltimore Urban Debate League, Lucas has become an effective and tenacious persuader and has been frequently voted as one of the top speakers at debate tournaments.  He has also been chosen to represent Baltimore in out of state tournaments.  Lucas plans to major in Pre-Law at the University of Maryland, College Park or UMBC.
