Kedisha Martin
W.E.B DuBois High School

Always willing to accept challenges and work diligently, Kedisha maintains the highest GPA in her class despite a rigorous course load.  She is involved in the school’s chapter of the Students Helping Other People Organization (SHOP), M.E.S.A. team, the homecoming committee and has participated in walks to raise money to end world hunger.  She also volunteers at soup kitchens during the holidays and participates in events honoring the work of leaders such as Martin Luther King.  Kedisha competes on the tennis team and was a member of the first women’s soccer team at W.E.B DuBois and hopes to be the first in her family to attend college.
