Three years ago, Qazi Humayun Khan came to the United States from Pakistan in search of a better life and a better quality of education. Adjusting to a new country’s culture is no easy feat, but Qazi managed to overcome all challenges. He refused to let his ability to study be hampered by language difference and worked tirelessly to excel in all his classes. Qazi is an intelligent, ambitious and hard-working young man, who is willing to go beyond what is required. He is ranked in the top five of his class and is a member of the National Honor Society. Qazi aspires to become a dental hygienist and help provide free healthcare to low-income communities. He has been accepted to Morgan State University and Coppin State University.
