THE COLLEGEBOUND FOUNDATION BRINGS COLLEGE GOAL SUNDAY
TO BALTIMORE CITY
For Immediate Release
When it was revealed at the National College Access Network Conference that Baltimore City
would not be a site for this year's national College Goal Sunday event, Baltimore's
college access advocate-The CollegeBound Foundation-immediately acted to rectify this
omission. CollegeBound engaged the U.S. Office of Education and agreed to organize,
market, and host College Goal Sunday at the Paul Laurence Dunbar High School.
With support from the Mayor's office, Baltimore City Public School Chief Bonnie Copeland,
and Constellation Energy, College Goal Sunday will be accessible for Baltimore's youth and
their parents.
Making college accessible for those who live and learn in Baltimore's underserved
communities is CollegeBound's business and hosting College Goal Sunday is just another
way CollegeBound serves its community and our children.
