Aaris Johnson

College Access Program Specialist

Aaris Johnson moved from his hometown of Washington, DC to Baltimore, MD in 2001 to pursue a degree in Physical Education at The Morgan State University. While a student at Morgan, Aaris became a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated and spent four years as a valuable member of the university’s football team, leading him to play professional football for several years. For the last decade, Aaris has been committed to working with students in grades K-12 and with those pursuing higher education.  In the past, he’s fulfilled the roles of physical education teacher, football coach, and dean of students. Most recently, Aaris served as the Campus Recruitment Coordinator at his beloved alma mater, Morgan State University. Aaris is excited to once again be working with the youth of Baltimore City and is eager to use his prior experiences to assist high school students in achieving their collegiate and professional endeavors.
