Jeremy Levinger

Jeremy was born and raised in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, and moved to Baltimore to be closer to family and to become part of an uplifting, vibrant, and resilient community of artists, educators, activists, and community workers. He has done bilingual social work internships practicing restorative justice models as alternatives to punitive systems in Minneapolis, as well as resource referral and advocacy for refugees and asylum seekers across the Midwest. Jeremy has also worked in schools in the Twin Cities and Baltimore as an educational assistant, substitute teacher, College Access Coach, and Community School Coordinator.  He is committed to maintaining an empowering and supportive learning environment for all students and families.

In his free time, Jeremy enjoys reading, writing poems and raps, producing beats, playing basketball, tennis, disc golf, biking, taking long walks, traveling, and learning community history through art and storytelling.
