Marcus Suero is a Washington D.C. native, but his roots run deep in Maryland. After graduating high school, he attended Montgomery College in Rockville, MD where he obtained his Associate’s Degree. This led him to Bowie State University in Bowie, MD where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in History. Originally, Marcus planned on working in the Museum field. However, he found his true calling working with first generation and low-income high school and college students at Collegiate Directions in Bethesda, MD. Being a first-generation college student, Marcus understands just how important it is to receive guidance during the college admissions journey. He hopes to attend graduate school in the Spring of 2025 where he plans to study Education Policy and Leadership. In his spare time, Marcus enjoys photography, Latin dancing, and visiting museums and other historic buildings.
