Benjamin Richardson

Benjamin Richardson holds a degree in Communication & Media specializing in advertising and public relations from Loyola University Maryland. During his time there, he completed courses in graphic design and media ethics as well as courses designed to develop his communication skills. He also completed a rigorous capstone project where he and his team developed a four-month-long public relations campaign for a local nonprofit, the Baltimore Furniture Bank  https://baltimorefurniturebank.org/ . While at Loyola, Ben was head of Marketing and Communications for the Loyola University Esports Club, where he developed critical media and infrastructure to ensure ongoing Club sustainability, and he did live commentary and streaming three days a week. Ben has a passion for nonprofit work, and through his capstone project he developed a commitment to a career where he can be helpful to others.

Ben is excited to join CollegeBound as the Governor’s Year of Service Fellow in Marketing and Storytelling. He will be working with CollegeBound’s Strategic Partnerships team creating communications strategies to share the good work of the organization to grow partnerships that benefit our scholars through internships, mentorships, and career opportunities.
