Chelsea is originally from Auburn, Alabama. She earned her B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Alabama, where she also completed a Master’s degree in Public Administration. During college, Chelsea discovered a passion for helping students navigate transitions, inspired by her own experience transferring universities and finding her place in higher education. After graduating, Chelsea served as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer and College Success Coordinator for MERIT Health Leadership Academy—an opportunity that brought her to Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, she provided mentorship and academic advising to high school scholars pursuing careers in healthcare, while also managing alumni engagement for MERIT’s growing network of students. Chelsea is deeply committed to public service, educational equity, and student success. She is excited to join CollegeBound, support its students, and contribute to the College Completion Program team to help students thrive!
