Emilia Duno is a Pittsburgh-born, Houston-raised curator, educator and community organizer. She attended Rice University, where she studied Latino/Latin American Studies and Art History. In 2016, she moved to Baltimore to continue her education at the Maryland Institute College of Art and pursue an MFA in Curatorial Practice. During this time, Emilia fell in love with Baltimore. After graduation, she decided to stay in the city to work at MICA in their undergraduate admissions office as an admission counselor and coordinator of Baltimore City diversity and equity programs. She is excited to continue working with Baltimore students and provide the support they need to not just complete but THRIVE in their college career!
