Kimberly Vasquez (she/her/ella) is a proud Baltimore native and first-generation Latina college graduate from Goucher College, earning her B.A. in Political Science and Spanish, with a double minor in Latin American Studies and Business Management. During her time as Lead Organizer of Students Organizing a Multicultural and Open Society (SOMOS) at Baltimore City College, she successfully championed fights for fair academic opportunities for English Language Learners, an increase of Comcast internet speeds, and more. At Goucher, she was part of the first cohort of the LAUNCH Scholars Network and led the Nomad Student Organization, creating community-building and professional development opportunities for first-generation, immigrant, international, and adoptee students. Wherever she goes, she strives to connect and make resources accessible to local communities. She is excited to work with and uplift Baltimore’s brilliant youth at the CollegeBound Foundation.
