In addition to participating in Adelante Latina for the past 3 years, since sophomore year she has also been a scholar in the MERIT program, she is Vice President of the National Honor Society and founder of a community service club at Western. Andrea is passionate about pursuing a career in medicine and addressing the health care disparities in the Latino community. She is also very proud of her family’s Mexican heritage.
