Ashira has been with UMB CURE since sixth grade. She has served as a role model to her peers and her younger sisters. During her time in the program, she has progressed with enthusiasm and a curiosity to learn beyond the curriculum. She furthered her passion through an internship with Becton Dickinson and has demonstrated a strong ability to succeed academically at City College, earning Principal’s Honor and awards for maintaining a GPA above 3.5. She contributes to her school and community as a member of her high school film club and has completed over 100 community service hours. Ashira is driven, determined and has earned great recognition for her hard work.
