From interning at a downtown law firm to writing for the school newspaper and playing for two varsity sports teams, George Magege enjoys being involved in extracurricular activities. Even with his busy schedule, George has always put his academics first. He continues to be one of the top and most well-rounded students at Augusta Fells. He is an inquisitive and competent learner, who thrives on hard work and challenges. George’s parents, who are originally from Tanzania, were deeply impacted by the housing crisis. During this time, they moved around often and were forced to stay at homeless shelters. Through it all, George remains motivated and optimistic in pursuing his goal of becoming a successful lawyer. He recently worked as an intern for the Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf & Hendler law firm through the Baltimore Law Links Program. George plans to major in business administration before applying for law school. He has been accepted to Morgan State University and Bowie State University.
