One of the most amazing things about Haydee is her ability to balance her amazing work inside the classroom with extracurricular activities and life outside the classroom. Haydee played on the varsity soccer team at Digital Harbor for 4 years, showing up with a positive mindset win or lose. When it was not soccer season she was motivated to continue playing soccer at Soccer Without Borders, a non-profit program. She was also one of 10 students chosen to participate in the University of Maryland overnight program before her junior year.
