Ty’Candice Smith is a current track and cross-country athlete. She has been participating in track since 9th grade year. Ty’Candice is slated to be salutatorian for the class of 2021. She is involved in the Under Armour Leadership Council, writing club, and the AEMS Education (Arts Education in Maryland Schools) program. Ty’Candice was also selected as a Page for the Maryland General Assembly where she learns about legislators and governmental processes in Maryland. Additionally, last year, her art was recognized and displayed at the Reginald F. Lewis museum as part of The Reach! Partnership’s art class project. Ty’Candice is determined to remain focused in her senior year as she has a very concrete goal of becoming a OB/GYN doctor in very near future.
