Antionette Brockenbrough is a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (class of 2024) from Baltimore, Maryland. She is a double major in Human and Organizational Leadership and Development (HOLD) and Sociology. During her undergraduate studies, she has worked as a college success mentor for underrepresented students in Baltimore city where she guided students on the process of college applications to ensure minority students were able to achieve their college goals. She was also a success and support coordinator at a nonprofit in Durham, NC where she worked to form connections between students and their communities. Her passion lies in initiatives that work towards empowering minority communities through education and other resources, as well as improving equity efforts within organizations. She recognizes that access to education paves the way for greater opportunities and is therefore thrilled to be working with the College Bound Foundation’s College Completion Program this semester.
