Willie McGirt is a Baltimore native. He graduated from Patterson High School and is also a CollegeBound Alum. After high school, he attended Virginia Polytechnic University and later transferred to Morgan State University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts, specializing in Graphic Design & Advertising. Willie comes to CBF from a sports brand Industry, where he spent many years building and developing relationships with local and national high schools, colleges, universities and professional athletes. He also spent time helping Baltimore City high school students, receive student service learning hours. Additionally, he worked college fairs and assisted with the college intern recruiting process. In his role, he recruited from high schools, colleges, and organizations across the nation; this program worked with more than 3500 consumer/student-athlete participants. Further on, Willie managed testing for product development and college/high school sports uniforms business. He worked with students for insight, to aid in the development of some of the best sports apparel products in the industry. Willie has always taken a proactive approach to supporting students. Outside of work, he spent 10+ years coaching youth football, baseball and basketball. He currently serves as an assistant football coach. He is a positive role model for the student-athletes through mentoring, teaching life skills and helping with collegiate aspirations. He has also been an advocate, advisor, recruiter, and leader for youth. Willie is passionate and committed to the development of our youth, and plans to continue contributing to future generations.
