Fabian is the eldest child and yearns to be the perfect role model for her family and build a platform in which she can always provide the best supportive environment. A native of Bangladesh, Fabian and her family migrated to the United States in 2018 for a better opportunity. With only the knowledge of her native language Bengali and Hindi, she taught herself English and taken on the supportive role of assisting her family due to their lack of English. Facing adversity with personal changes, such as adapting to a new country and adjusting to the American culture, she never wavered her academic performance and always assisted her family and friends in time of need. Fabian currently maintains a 4.75 weighted GPA and is currently ranked 1 of 283 of her senior class. Throughout her tenure in high school, she has participated in a series of activism and community service projects. These include being the co-leader/meeting facilitator of the Soda Free Campaign, through the Youth Activism Project, to promote healthy lifestyles, an summer 2022 intern for the John Hopkins Internship in Brain Science where she discovered scientific literacy and conducted research in clinical, experimental, computational and cognitive neuroscience; which ties into her career goal of being a Neurosurgeon.
