Kevin Carter is Scholar of the Week at Frederick Douglass High School. Kevin is currently ranked #1 in his graduating class. Not only is Kelvin an exceptional student, he excels in Football and Track & Field. Kevin’s determination and drive allowed a return to the football field after rehabbing an injury thought to be season ending all while continuing to maintain exceptional grades. A student-athlete is a full-time student and athlete and requires hard work, sacrifice and dedication and Kelvin is an excellent example of a student who has been able to thrive in both settings.
