Asia Bailey is a native of Baltimore and a proud graduate of Western High School. After high school, Asia continued her education at Benedict College in Columbia, SC obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation and Leisure Services with a concentration in Recreation Therapy, became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc and served as a student-athlete on the Benedict College Women’s Volleyball Team. Following her undergraduate years, Asia went on to earn a Master of Social Work Degree from Walden University. Asia has served various cultural populations and community groups in behavioral health, short-term and long-term care, higher education, and athletics settings, including as an Adjunct Professor at a nearby university and a College Access Program Specialist through CollegeBound Foundation at her alma mater Western High School. Asia looks forward to implementing her knowledge of working in micro social work to impact a macro level in higher education and assist the youth/new student generation.
